Ca’ Foscari University Venice invites applications for a non-tenured position as Assistant Professor of Labour Law.
Ca’ Foscari University Venice is looking for a non-tenured assistant professor of Social Statistics capable of inspiring students to become game-changers in their own fields and to make a genuine difference in the world.
The research activity is expected to mainly contribute to the enhancement of research focused on Labour Law and industrial relations, with particular reference to the impact of socio-economic changes on work and work organisation. The candidate's research should integrate the perspective of Labour Law and industrial relations with the dimension of organisation. In this sense, the candidate will have to participate in the development of the Venice School of Management’s research and the activities of the research center Impresa e lavoro 4.0.
The research activity will also be integrated with the topics of the PNR 2021-2027, in particular within the large research and innovation area ‘HUMANISTIC CULTURE, CREATIVITY, SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION, SOCIETY OF INCLUSION’.
To this end, the candidate will have to publish research results in national or international scientific journals of Labour Law, and disseminate research results through conference activities.
The candidate will also contribute to the teaching of courses in Labour Law at the Venice School of Management. The position will be in the Department of Economics, a centre that carries out innovative research in fields such as economics, finance, statistics and mathematics, covering all the legal, social, international, and environmental aspects of these disciplines.
The Department has recently received a “Department of Excellence” Award by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research. The Excellence Award has allowed the department to receive additional state funding to develop innovative projects on Economic and Risk Analytics for public policies.
The Department offers Bachelor, Master and PhD programmes taught entirely in English.
