Ca’ Foscari is looking for an Assistant Professor of Business Administration, Accounting & Performance Measurement capable of inspiring students to become game-changers in their own fields and to make a genuine difference in the world.
The Assistant Professor will conduct research activities on topics related to Business Administration, Accounting & Performance Measurement, with particular reference to sustainability and cultural and creative enterprises. Specifically, the research activity may focus on performance measurement and impact assessment in cultural productions and creative enterprises, through the lens of sustainability.
The selected person will contribute to the international development of the Department’s research and teaching activities, participate in its organizational tasks, and engage in securing national and international funding for specific projects.
The teaching commitment may be carried out in undergraduate, master's, and doctoral courses, both in Italian and English.
The selected person will be assigned up to three courses (totalling 90 academic hours) related to Business Administration, Accounting & Performance Measurement, particularly concerning performance measurement and the economics of creative and cultural enterprises, among them:
- Cost Analysis and Accounting (Italian);
- Elements of Business Economics for Cultural Institutions (Italian);
- Critical Management for Cultural Organizations (English);
- Cultural Policies (Italian).
The courses may be subject to changes in accordance with the Department’s annual teaching plan.
The position is at the Venice School of Management, whose major fields of activity include innovation, entrepreneurship, international management and creativity. The faculty in engaged in blending teaching and research in close contact with stakeholders from the economic, institutional and professional areas, while also focusing on sustainability and responsible development issues for the wellbeing of future generations.
