English GCSE & FS Lecturer Lecturer
A college based in Harrow is seeking an enthusiastic English Lecturer to teach a range of English courses, including GCSE and Functional Skills (Entry and Level 1). This is an immediate start position.
The college is looking for a highly motivated individual who has a flexible approach to work and can collaborate effectively as part of a team. You may be required to work one evening per week or Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the learning activities of students according to their educational needs.
- Teach effectively and efficiently across a range of courses, including GCSE and Functional Skills.
- Develop, monitor, and evaluate curriculum provision and learning strategies.
- Prepare assessment and learning materials.
- Act as a tutor as required, providing guidance and support within the college tutorial and pastoral care system.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant degree in English.
- Full teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DTLLS).
- A valid DBS on the update service is required.
- Ability to teach GCSE and Functional Skills at Entry and Level 1.
- Experience in preparing and delivering assessments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support and guide students effectively.
