Datos’ Retail Banking and Payments practice provides clients with ongoing insights focused on the business, technology, and regulatory challenges impacting consumer banking services and retail payments of all kinds. The practice serves a wide range of market participants, including global universal banks, community banks, credit unions, alternative financial services providers, card processors and network providers, merchants, technology vendors, and professional services firms.

As an Associate, you will work directly with our senior team on client-facing projects and research reports. No prior knowledge of financial services is required, although some experience is a plus and an eagerness to learn is key.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist our senior experts in producing high-quality research papers and other client-facing deliverables
  • Provide ongoing support to the financial institutions and technology vendors that subscribe to the Retail Banking Practice
  • Conduct research on key retail banking players and trends
  • Develop plans for projects and conduct research to collect, analyse, and evaluate facts
  • Partner with team members to evaluate research data and the validity of findings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • The ability to learn new subject matter quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work collaboratively and/or independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
