Researcher

Cordis Bright helps our clients deliver improved outcomes across children’s services, adult social care, criminal justice, NHS, domestic abuse, mental health, multiple disadvantage and public health. We do this through evidence-based research, rigorous evaluation and proven consultancy approaches. Key challenges that we are helping to address include:

  • What are the needs of children with complex needs and how do we ensure systems respond effectively?
  • How should independent sector providers of social care respond to increases in the national minimum wage?
  • How effectively are local authorities, the NHS, independent sector and other partners working together effectively to improve health and wellbeing outcomes across a local area?
  • How do you successfully prevent children and young people becoming involved in serious youth violence?
  • To what extent, and how, are domestic abuse interventions helping to improve long-term outcomes for families?
  • How should mental health services respond to evidence of poorer outcomes amongst Black and other minority ethnic populations?

The role

Cordis Bright is looking for people who have:

  • A demonstrable interest in, and commitment to, our objectives, our ways of working, and the sectors in which we specialise.
  • A good first degree.
  • Previous experience of undertaking quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Competent Word and Excel skills.

We are particularly keen to receive applications from people who:

  • Can further help us ensure that our team reflects the diversity of backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities, experiences and viewpoints in our society today.
  • Have the skills, experience and interest to progress to Consultant.

Our aspirations

We are building a company where team members can live their values and make a positive difference to our society. We are committed to:

  • Helping to ensure that public services change lives for the better.
  • Delivering high quality work that delivers impact and value.
  • Tackling inequity in service provision, access, and outcomes.
  • Taking a collaborative approach: with our clients, with service users and beneficiaries, and with colleagues.
  • Maximising the positive difference that diversity of background, life experience and opinion can bring to the quality of our work and the insight that we generate.
  • Implementing approaches that are open, honest, thoughtful, participative and based on strong evidence of 'what works'.
