Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Research ManagerLocation: North Yorkshire - hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days WFH)Salary: Up to £42,500 + benefitsA leading UK financial services organisation is looking for a Senior Research Manager to join their research team. The role will involve managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research projects across areas like market insights, consumer behaviour, competitor analysis, and member-driven initiatives. You will also handle approximately 40–50 ad-hoc research projects annually, contributing to key strategic decisions for the businessKey Responsibilities:Lead research efforts on diverse topics, including brand strategy, member initiatives, and diversity and inclusion.Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, positioning the research function as a key driver of value and insights.Manage a team of six research specialists who work remotely across the UK.Engage with over 20,000 opt-in members as a resource for research initiatives.Regularly visit the office to ensure close collaboration with the team and stakeholders.Ideal Candidate:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a research and analysis role.Strong skills in both qualitative and quantitative research design, delivery, and analysis.A dynamic individual with strong research experience in market, consumer, or competitor analysis.Excellent communication skills, able to position the value of research across various teams.A proactive approach to building relationships and driving the visibility of the research function.Comfortable working with a mix of introverted team members and remote colleagues, fostering team spirit and collaboration.What’s on Offer:Hybrid working with the flexibility to work remotely and visit the office twice a week.Competitive salary, bonus scheme, and a range of benefits.Opportunity to work on diverse projects across the business, contributing to high-level strategic initiatives.This is an exciting opportunity to bring your research expertise and personality to a forward-thinking organisation.
