Synechron is looking for a UX Researcher, who will manage research activities and ensure all research and insights follow organizational and industry best practices to enhance the customer experience. You should be curious about people and their engagement with technology and has exceptional behavioral data analysis skills.
You should also have an entrepreneurial spirit and the knowledge to continue to add and contribute to the team's approach to solving customer problems through the right mix of people, processes, and technology.
UX: Audit digital interfaces with usability metrics and industry best practices Contribute to the definition and creation of flexible, coherent design systems and component libraries
Research: Conduct UX research and user testing activities, including usability studies, competitive analysis, focus groups, remote usability testing, tree-testing, eye-tracking, user surveys, expert reviews, card sorting, cognitive walkthroughs, persona generation, and more Defining research objectives and appropriate research methodologies with multiple stakeholders An intuitive understanding of research timelines and milestones is a must Conduct ethnographic research employing observational techniques to better understand customer motivations, behaviors, and needs in the field Produce high fidelity reports detailing UX research, analysis, and findings Translate research data into UX patterns that connect the company goals with the user needs Applies a mix-methods approach Experience with quantitative and qualitative data is a must Own process to identify the correct research methods for the problem statement by engaging with company stakeholders
Leadership Work with the wider team to continually improve the toolkit for design thinking and service design by refining existing tools, methods, or processes, and by seeking out and incorporating new tools, methods, or processes Showcase the lab to internal stakeholders and visitors Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively present concepts and justify decisions Ability to answer questions from top-level stakeholders and think on one’s feet during meetings and presentations
You are: Equipped with at least 5+ years of experience in UX Research or Interaction Design Experienced in applying a balanced mix of qualitative and quantitative methodologies An expert in experimental design and hypothesis testing Excited about answering questions with data An expert in prototyping tools such as Invision for creating wireframes, sitemaps, flow diagrams, and interactive prototypes Passionate about industry and UX trends, sharing or applying them where feasible Well-versed in human-centered design principles A strong verbal and written communicator
