DIGS-BB & IMPRS-CellDevoSys

The Dresden International Graduate School for Biomedicine and Bioengineering (DIGS-BB) in joint association with the International Max Planck Research School for Cell, Developmental and Systems Biology (IMPRS-CellDevoSys), representing a faculty of more than 80 group leaders, offers international PhD Programs that provide outstanding opportunities for university graduates to work towards a PhD with ambitious thesis projects in the following three interconnected research areas:
1.    Cell, Developmental and Systems Biology (CellDevoSys Program)
2.    Regenerative Medicine (RegMed Program)
3.    Molecular Bioengineering and Biophysics (BioEng Program)
The IMPRS-CellDevoSys (International Max Planck Research School for Cell, Developmental and Systems Biology) is a joint program of the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG), the Max Planck Institute of the Physics of Complex Systems (MPI-PKS) and the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD). It is the partner of, and cooperates with, the Dresden International Graduate School for Biomedicine and Bioengineering (DIGS-BB), which has been awarded to the TUD by the Excellence Initiative by the German federal and state government in 2006. Together, they form the Dresden International PhD Program (DIPP). Admission to the IMPRS-CellDevoSys is highly competitive; it includes affiliation and participation in the DIGS-BB.
