At the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), we’re building a one-of-a-kind learning and innovation ecosystem designed to spark creativity and action. This is a place to explore new ideas, prototype concepts, test, and grow together. Our vision: A house full of projects – from hands-on, project-based courses to student-led initiatives and industry collaborations. On 4,600 m², we are creating space for project work, events, and a makerspace equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, electronics, and metalworking tools. In the digital realm, we are developing VR training programs, virtual meeting spaces, and AI tools.
Bereich III - Maschinenbau und Elektrotechnik
You will take responsibility for the entire digital landscape of KIT nova – from strategic planning and digital offerings to ensuring efficient digital operations. Your tasks: drive the organizational development in the digital realm and implement new digital initiatives act as the main point of contact for all digital-related topics within the team and towards KIT develop and manage digital solutions for projects, such as AI tools, chatbots, cloud credits, and avatar-based virtual spaces oversee digital hardware offerings such as VR/AR headsets, high-performance computers, and virtually-controlled robot arms integrate prototyping and manufacturing machines from our makerspace into digital workflows ensure smooth digital operations, including compliance with digital standards design and manage digital infrastructures such as computers, databases, and the website create a high-performing digital ecosystem for the team – with the right tools, presentation technology, and devices
Salary
Salary category 13 TV-L, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
