My name is Farzaneh Dashti, I obtained my Ph.D. in Seismology from the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Zanjan, Iran, in 2020. My research experience combines earthquake seismology, seismic data processing, waveform analysis, and imaging of crustal and lithospheric structures, which closely matches the scientific objectives of this position. More recently, As a postdoctoral researcher, within the ANR FRlitho3D project at Geosciences Montpellier, Université de Montpellier, I have worked on the joint inversion of teleseismic, gravity, and gradiometry data to develop a 3D lithospheric model of France. I received my M.Sc. from the Institute of International Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES), Tehran, Iran. During my M.Sc. research, I investigated the seismotectonics of the Central Alborz using moment tensor inversion of local and regional earthquakes recorded by the Iranian National Seismic Network. I determined earthquake focal mechanisms using the ISOLA code, and this research was recognized as the outstanding paper at the 17th Iranian Geophysical Conference. I also gained practical experience in seismic network installation and maintenance, as well as earthquake data analysis using SEISAN. Throughout my academic career, I have developed strong computational skills in Python, MATLAB, and Bash/Linux, as well as experience in earthquake relocation, moment tensor inversion, waveform analysis, earthquake tomography, and receiver-function analysis.
