About
I am a highly motivated molecular microbiologist with a strong background in microbiology, virology, and immunology, currently holding an M.Sc. in Microbiology from Islamic Azad University, Tabriz, Iran. My research experience focuses on viral pathogenesis, host–virus interactions, and immune response modulation, with practical expertise in molecular techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction, qPCR, molecular cloning, CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing, and cell culture.
During my master’s thesis, I investigated Human Herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6) gene expression in multiple sclerosis patients, gaining hands-on experience in gene expression profiling and contributing to the understanding of viral involvement in MS pathogenesis. I have published peer-reviewed journal articles and a book on virology and immunology, demonstrating strong scientific communication skills.
I am proficient in bioinformatics and data analysis, including RNA-Seq, next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis, Python, R, and visualization tools such as GraphPad Prism. I have practical experience in microbiological diagnostics, teaching, and assisting in bioinformatics research projects.
My career objective is to pursue a Ph.D. position where I can integrate advanced molecular microbiology and evolutionary genomics techniques to study microbial diversity, adaptation, and evolution in environmental and host-associated systems. I am eager to collaborate with interdisciplinary international research teams and contribute to high-impact publications and translational research in microbiology and virology.
