About
My name is Muhammad Asim, and I am from Pakistan. I completed my Master’s degree in Animal Genetics, Breeding, and Reproduction from Nanjing Agricultural University, China. During my graduate studies, I gained practical experience working with laboratory animals, particularly mice and pigs. I developed strong skills in animal handling, animal care, and post-mortem surgical procedures. I conducted experimental work both independently and collaboratively with research team members. I also developed several laboratory and molecular biology skills, including ELISA, use of spectrophotometer, biological sample collection, neuronal cell culture, quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR), and RNA sequencing analysis using Linux-based systems. Additionally, I have experience analyzing data using Jupyter Notebook. My research also involved behavioral studies in animal models, including the Open Field Test, Y-Maze Test, and Elevated Plus Maze Test, which are used to evaluate cognitive and behavioral functions. Professionally, I have worked as a Young Scholar, which further strengthened my research and laboratory experience. I have also contributed to scientific research by publishing several scientific papers, which are listed in my curriculum vitae. My academic background and research experience have equipped me with strong experimental, analytical, and teamwork skills, enabling me to contribute effectively to research in animal genetics and biomedical sciences.
