About
🔬 Molecular Cancer Biologist | PhD in Oncology | NSCLC Drug Resistance | RNA Splicing & Translational Cancer Research
I am a molecular cancer biologist with a PhD focused on understanding how non-small cell lung cancer develops resistance to platinum-based chemotherapy and how these mechanisms can be therapeutically targeted.
During my doctoral research, I studied the effects of splicing modulation in platinum-resistant NSCLC models, with a focus on the link between RNA splicing alterations and DNA damage response signaling, and cancer cell survival. This work strengthened my interest in connecting mechanistic cancer biology with therapeutic innovation.
I have hands-on experience in cell-based and molecular biology techniques, including 2D cell culture, flow cytometry, apoptosis and cell-cycle assays, Click-iT EdU proliferation assays, western blotting, immunofluorescence, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, and analysis of treatment response in preclinical models.
I am now looking to apply my scientific background in translational oncology, biomarker research, preclinical development, molecular diagnostics, or biotech/pharma R&D, where rigorous research can contribute to meaningful advances for patients.
