My primary area of expertise lies in clinical pharmacy, with a particular focus on respiratory infectious diseases, especially pulmonary tuberculosis. My doctoral research centred on pharmacist-led educational interventions to improve treatment adherence and health outcomes in TB patients, which have been translated into multiple publications in journals. I also bring expertise in pharmacoepidemiology and health outcomes research, having contributed to the Global Burden of Disease Study 2023 and published on lower respiratory infections, drug-resistant TB, and antimicrobial stewardship. Additionally, my work spans health education, patient counselling, and the application of behavioral frameworks, such as the Health Belief Model, to improve medication adherence in pulmonary conditions, making me well-positioned to critically evaluate manuscripts at the intersection of clinical pharmacy and pulmonology.
