About
I am an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering and a Chartered Engineer (CEng, UK & India) with over 14 years of academic and research experience in advanced manufacturing, precision engineering, and materials processing. My expertise lies in sustainable manufacturing, micro-machining, additive and hybrid manufacturing, and surface engineering of advanced materials such as titanium alloys and superalloys.
I have developed a strong international research profile, with over 70 peer-reviewed publications, including multiple Q1 journals, and collaborations with researchers in Europe, the USA, and Brazil. My research focuses on improving manufacturing performance, surface integrity, and sustainability in high-value industrial applications.
My current research interests include sustainable and energy-efficient manufacturing, smart and data-driven manufacturing systems, and hybrid manufacturing processes for advanced materials. I am particularly interested in developing industry-relevant solutions and contributing to next-generation manufacturing technologies.
Alongside research, I have extensive experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising student projects, and developing industry-aligned curricula. I am open to international academic opportunities and collaborations in sustainable and intelligent manufacturing.
