Dr. Shubham Tiwari is a dedicated and accomplished Ph.D. from the Central University of South Bihar. His research focuses on social gerontology, gender studies, urban sociology, and marginalized communities, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches linking classical theory with contemporary global issues such as environmental justice, human rights, and technology.
He currently teaches core and elective sociology papers at Sunbeam Women’s College, Varuna, and has extensive experience in curriculum development, research supervision, and academic committee leadership. His ICSSR-funded doctoral research on elderly women in Varanasi highlights his commitment to socially relevant and policy-oriented scholarship.
Dr. Tiwari has published in UGC-CARE and peer-reviewed journals, contributed to edited volumes, and presented at numerous national and international conferences. He is proficient in qualitative and quantitative research methods and has completed multiple professional development courses in research ethics, AI tools, NEP-2020, and Indian knowledge systems.
