About
I am a public health and development professional with over 15 years of experience leading impactful programs in both the health and agriculture sectors across southern Africa, including five years in senior leadership in Malawi. I hold an MSc in Global Public Health Nutrition and a postgraduate certification in International Community Health. My work spans policy advocacy, donor engagement, and multi-sectoral coordination, with a focus on inclusive, data-driven solutions that align with national priorities.
I have contributed to academic knowledge through peer-reviewed publications and policy briefs that inform practice and decision-making. As a GRASP Fellow under the African Women in Agriculture Research and Development (AWARD) program, my Policy Innovation Project focuses on applying gender-sensitive analysis to enhance smallholder farmers’ agroecological practices in Malawi. This work was selected for both a full scientific session and poster presentation at the CGIAR Gender in Agriculture Conference 2025 in Cape Town. I am deeply committed to advancing academic research and teaching that bridges theory and practice, while mentoring future leaders in public health and sustainable development.
