Institut für Mikrostrukturtechnik (IMT)
You will work on the development of a microfluidic lab-on-a-chip platform with integrated nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) sensing for real-time, non-invasive monitoring of hyperpolarised metabolites in tumor models. In a collaborative project we will address key technical challenges in combining NMR-compatible microfluidic devices with enhanced-sensitivity detection methods to enable quantitative measurements in small-volume, physiologically relevant systems. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will develop an automated sample transfer system to ensure reliable and reproducible NMR measurements on microfluidic devices, and contribute to the design and implementation of dedicated hardware for microfluidic NMR.In addition, you will supervise master's and semester theses and publish your results in international journals and at conferences.
