Job description
The Junior Researcher will support tasks related to a Social Network Analysis of healthcare system on the Dutch-German border, an Evaluation of the BRIDGE Platform and its use, and some light teaching. Responsibilities include (1) conducting targeted literature reviews and policy/document analyses on cross-border health system governance; (2) supporting qualitative and basic quantitative analysis of cross-border health care networks; (3) supporting empirical data collection (interviews, case studies) with hospitals and public authorities; (4) contributing to analysis and drafting of research, evaluation, and policy-oriented outputs; and (5) supporting dissemination activities and light teaching.
Your profile
The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, or a related field, strong qualitative research and analytical skills, interest in health policy and cross-border cooperation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in an international research team; experience with European or cross-border policy contexts and proficiency in German and/or Dutch are not required but desired.
Our offer
The position is part time, 20 hours per week for up to 20 months. The salary scale is 10.0.
