Scientific Computing Center (SCC)
The Scientific Computing Center (SCC) is the information technology center of KIT. The Scientific Data Management department at SCC is seeking additional staff to support the development of user-friendly file transfer tools between suitable endpoints such as the LSDF (Large Scale Data Facility) and the bwDataArchiv in a scientific environment.Your Responsibilities:Operation, maintenance, and further development of existing WebDAV, FTS, and LSDF web portal servicesExtension of the WebDAV protocol to support third-party transfers using FTS and OIDC-based authentication. The extension will be provided as an Apache module for deployment within the LSDFFurther development of the LSDF checksumming service as well as the web portalIntegration of the services into the AAI infrastructures of KIT and the NFDI
Salary
Salary category 13 TV-L, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
