As a lecturer in AI Ethics and Law, you teach courses on the legal, ethical, and societal aspects of AI. You deliver lectures and supervise students at both bachelor’s and master’s level, including programmes such as Business Administration, Econometrics, Business Analytics, and Information Management. You work closely with an interdisciplinary team of lecturers and researchers that is strongly engaged in AI-driven educational innovation and societal impact.
This is what you will be doing
You teach and develop education in the field of AI Ethics and Law within existing courses and programmes.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Delivering lectures and seminars at bachelor’s and master’s level;
- Supervising and assessing students (assignments, essays, exams);
- Updating course content in line with new legislation and regulations (such as the AI Act);
- Coordinating with fellow lecturers across different programmes;
- Contributing to the further development of AI-related education.
This is what we ask of you
- Academic level of thinking and working, with expertise in AI, ethics, and/or law;
- Experience in teaching at bachelor’s and/or master’s level;
- Demonstrable affinity with AI applications in organisations and public policy;
- Ability to clearly explain complex societal and legal issues;
- Experience across multiple disciplines (for example law, business administration, or data/AI) is an prerequisite.
We will prioritize candidates that hold a Ph.D. (completed or near completion, in Business Administration, Management, and similar) with more than two years of teaching in International Business topics at Dutch universities or abroad. However, we will also consider candidates with more than five years of teaching experience in higher education programs in related areas of business studies.

The contract is entered into for a period of one year and, if the employee proves to be suitable and continues in the same position, under the same (financial and/or organizational) conditions, it can be converted into a permanent contract.
