Contract Type: Part-Time (FTE 0.3)

Start Date: January 2025

Salary: £29.98 – £42.80 per hour (including statutory holiday pay, dependent on qualifications and experience)

Are you passionate about accounting and looking to inspire the next generation of finance professionals? University Centre Peterborough (UCP) is seeking a dedicated Accounting Lecturer to join our team and deliver exceptional teaching to students studying accounting at Levels 2–4.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Lecturer at UCP, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to students at Levels 2–4.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans and resources that support student achievement.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to ensure students thrive in their studies.
  • Assess student work and offer constructive feedback to promote progression.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in accounting education and industry trends.

  • A strong background in accounting, including relevant qualifications.
  • Teaching experience in further or higher education (desirable but not essential).
