We are recruiting for a well organised agriculture instructor/technician and lecturer to join the farm team at Common Leys Farm campus. This is an exciting post, giving the successful applicant the opportunity to work within the agriculture department providing a high standard of animal husbandry for a range of farm livestock whilst also supporting students to develop a high level of employability skills. 

You will be working with a wide range of livestock on our farm, including sheep, pigs, cattle and poultry. You should be qualified to a minimum of level 3 in a recognised agriculture subject and have recent experience of working on farm or in a college environment. You must enjoy working with young people and be confident working with and supervising students in a wide variety of routine duties and practical animal husbandry tasks. You should also be able to help staff and students in wider farm maintenance activities including fencing and tractor driving.

The role is part time and includes working weekends and bank holidays in a rota system with the farm staff. You would be part of a dedicated, flexible team of lecturers, instructors, technicians, and support staff based at the farm.
