We are seeking an AI Researcher with experience ideally within the application of general sound enhancement technologies for voice or other audio components (including AI technologies) to join our client in the northwest Surrey/West London (1 hour from King's Cross) on a permanent basis.
What we look for is:
- MSc / PhD Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Proven skills in compiling, deploying, profiling and optimizing latency and quality models on embedded devices (NPU and/or CPU)
- Excellent general AI skills, including improving quality of models using various techniques, including developing new architectures, novel training approaches. Experience with building training pipelines, applying new datasets and achieving timely results
- Specific experience and application of general sound enhancement technologies for voice or other audio components. Including but not limited to AI technologies
- Analysis and design of software modules within an embedded system including creation of demo applications to showcase AI work.
- Prior experience of innovation in AI space, finding new project domains and generating project proposals
Any of the following would be considered a plus:
- Publications in top ML conferences (e.g. ICML, ICCV, SysML or similar)
- Contribution to open source ML frameworks such as –TensorFlow, TensorFlow Lite, etc.
- Experience with knowledge distillation, computer vision algorithms, federated learning
- Knowledge of one or more interpreted languages, such as Python and/or JavaScript
- Experience of real-time and/or embedded software development in C++ (on embedded Linux) including multi-threaded programming (POSIX)
- Linux (or other Unix-like) programming experience, shell scripting
- Version control systems, software build environments
- Source code quality checking and analysis tools
