Protocol are working with a well established college based in the St Albans area who are looking for an Animal Lecturer to start immediately.
They are seeking someone with previous teaching experience. This full-time temporary role involves teaching animal care courses on the BTEC framework NQF at levels 1, 2, and 3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching on topics including animal behaviour, human and animal interactions, feed, cleaning, and managing husbandry of animals.
- Create assignment briefs and assessment materials.
- Conduct assessments and participate in standardisation and internal verification processes.
- Use Information and Learning Technology (ILT) including interactive whiteboards, EBS, and Promonitor.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet targets and deadlines.
- Communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.
- Support learners and ensure adherence to safeguarding regulations and college policies.
- Manage student behaviour effectively.
