The Warwick Mathematics Institute invites applications for the post of Assistant/Associate Professor, to start in September 2025. We have two positions available, open to all areas of mathematics.
Associate Professorships are permanent appointments and usually for those who already have a well-established track record in research and significant lecturing experience. Those appointed at the Assistant level are supported through a five-year probationary period to enable them to fulfil the criteria for promotion to Associate Professor. The salary ranges are:
Assistant Professor - £45,585 - £54,395
Associate Professor - £56,201 - £64,914

About You
All applicants should hold a PhD and have already demonstrated excellence and independence in research and an ability to teach effectively.
We aim to appoint people to these two posts who can make a strong contribution to both our research and our teaching, and who will make the most of the opportunities provided by our lively and vibrant departmental culture.
