About us

We are a campaign group which has been committed to injured people for more than 30 years. Our vision is of a society without needless injury but, when people are injured, they receive the justice they need to rebuild their lives.

Over the years we have grown to become the leading, most respected organisation in this field, constantly working to promote and develop expertise in the practise of personal injury law, for the benefit of injured people. www.apil.org.uk

Our office in Nottingham is the base for 25 dedicated full and part time staff who are responsible for running the day-to-day activities of the organisation.

About the role

You will play a key role in helping us produce research which supports APIL’s campaigning, press and policy work. This will involve using a range of research methods to create outputs including briefings, social media posts, and reports.

Working closely with other colleagues in our legal and campaign teams, you will feed into our work influencing policy makers such as parliamentarians, the civil service, regulators and industry.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for exceptional individuals with good research and communication skills, curiosity, and ambition to achieve real change on behalf of victims of negligence. Relevant professional experience is not essential for this role, but a demonstrable interest in research and the policy landscape is vital.
