Faculty/Directorate

You will join a truly innovative School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, with a fully integrated MPharm based on Team-Based Learning (TBL), a suite of postgraduate programmes, and excellence in research.

What you will be doing:

  • This role has a focus on undergraduate (MPharm) pharmacy teaching but will also include postgraduate pharmacy teaching (MSc/PG Diploma Foundation Pharmacy Practice) and/or non-medical prescribing.
  • You will develop and deliver teaching and assessment to undergraduate (MPharm) and postgraduate pharmacy students (MSc/PG Diploma Foundation Pharmacy Practice), using Team-Based Learning (TBL).
  • You will act as a personal academic tutor to undergraduate pharmacy students
  • You will have the opportunity to participate in research activities in the School.
  • Qualifications/ experience:

  • MPharm degree (or equivalent)
  • Registration with the UK General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Postgraduate qualification e.g Postgraduate Diploma, non-medical prescribing OR significant professional experience as a pharmacist working in a variety of clinical settings
  • Member of Advanced HE or commitment to achieving appropriate level of membership 
  • A level of English equivalent to level C1 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
  • Independent Prescribing qualification is an advantage
