Worcester Polytechnic Institute's Humanities and Arts Department invites applications for a Assistant Teaching Professor in Modern European History for the 2024-2025 academic year, beginning in August 2024. We especially invite scholars working on Europe since 1700, deploying transregional, international, comparative, and/or global perspectives and methods. We are particularly interested in scholars with a demonstrated record of teaching who can contribute to the department’s thematic areas of focus on gender, sexuality, and women’s studies; and/or histories of science, technology, and medicine.WPI is passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity.
