Associate Lecturer in Psychology

Publicerad 2024-07-25

We are seeking

to appoint Associate Lecturers who are able to contribute to the teaching of core British Psychological Society curriculum areas in particular (i.e., Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Individual Differences, Biopsychology, Cognitive Psychology and Research Methods). We aim to ensure that our students are offered an outstanding learning experience, and the successful applicants will be able to contribute to this aspiration in a very practical, flexible, and inspiring way. The successful applicants will form part of an enthusiastic and motivated team delivering the undergraduate and taught post-graduate programmes.

The School comprises two departments, Performance, Health and Wellbeing and Violence Prevention, Trauma and Criminology, and is underpinned by a commitment to deliver a forward-thinking, dynamic, creative community dedicated to personal growth and professional development in the fields of criminology and psychology. Teaching for all roles will be primarily allocated to one of the two departments, although there may be opportunities to contribute more broadly.

Further information about our staff profiles and research areas show our depth and breadth of experience and expertise. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive team of colleagues for applicants seeking to develop experience in an academic environment. Our school holds strong values of professionalism, respect and inclusivity and we are looking for colleagues who share our vision and values to join us and contribute to our ongoing success.

Informal queries are welcome and should be directed to Dr Béré Mahoney, via email to b.mahoney@worc.ac.uk

We value diversity and wish to promote equality at all levels
