About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional individual with vision and enthusiasm and a proven track record of research in one or more of the following sub-disciplines:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Brain Informatics and Medical Technologies
  • Cybersecurity and Connected Vehicles
  • Assistive Technologies and Robotics
  • You will lead the growth of research for CIRC and the Department of Computer Science and you will undertake a substantive programme of research at the highest international standard. You will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, being capable of teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students across our portfolio of courses within the Computer Science department. You will also be an inspiring educator interested in creating engaging learning experiences. You should be able to make a significant contribution to our ambitious plan for delivering innovative, industry-focused education. 

    Successful applicants will bee expected to make significant contributions towards the Computer Science and Informatics UoA in REF in terms of outputs, impact and environment (research funding and successful research students supervision). Specifically, we welcome applications from candidates who would be able to provide a case study for the next submission.
