About the Role
We seek a Professor of Industrial Digitalisation, to enhance our ADMC research and innovation team who has proven capabilities in the field of industrial digitisation to address the needs of a diverse industry sectors.
The Department is characterised by an innovative approach to education in partnership with industry, emphasising innovation and project delivery on a foundation of core engineering expertise. We are looking for someone with a proven ability applying engineering knowledge to innovate. You will be an inspiring educator, who aims to develop project-based teaching in the context of real-world applications and thrives in a collegiate Department. The department has been recognised as a member of CDIO.
You will have a PhD in a relevant Engineering discipline and an expert knowledge of data-driven and data-centric strategies and solutions applied to a wide range of industries.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing and sustaining relationships with external organisations including industry funders, academic/professional centres of excellence, both nationally and internationally.
(Pay grade will depend on whether you are appointed at AP or Prof level.)
