Bioinformatician - Proteomics

My Client is looking for a Bioinformatician with a strong skillset in proteomics and immuno-oncology to add to their current team!

The right candidate will have the following:

Essential Criteria

• MSc + One year industry experience or equivalent OR a PhD with a significant computational component
• Strong experience working with proteomics mass spec
• Experience working with proteomics tools (e.g. MaxQuant, quantms)
• Expert level python coding, data analysis, statistical tests and modelling
• Experience with multi-omics analysis techniques (e.g. MOFA, networks, interactomes)
• Experienced in downstream analysis techniques
• Self motivated with a growth mindset

Desirable Criteria

• Experience working with clients
• Experience of applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence algorithms to mining high-dimensional data
• Domain knowledge of precision medicine with a particular focus on oncology
• Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Expertise in containerisation tools (e.g. Docker)
• Experience working within the full software development life cycle (software version control, design, testing and deployment
