About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Brickwork/Multi Skills Lecturer to join our team in Hertfordshire. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire students in the field of brickwork and multi skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, coordinating courses, and assessing student work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lectures in Brickwork and Multi Skills.
  • Coordinate and manage course content and delivery.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student work.
  • Support students in all aspects of their learning journey.
  • Develop and update course materials and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate student records and assessment data.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A relevant qualification in Brickwork or a related field.
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in teaching Brickwork and Multi Skills at the FE level.
  • Strong knowledge of current practices and methodologies in brickwork and multi skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • IT literate, with experience using virtual learning environments and other educational technologies.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in curriculum development and course coordination.
  • Industry experience in brickwork or multi skills.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body.
