We are seeking an enthusiastic Researcher to take a leading role in the Widening Access to Trials in Care Homes (WATCH) Study. The post is full-time and is temporary until August 2026.

WATCH is funded by NIHR’s Vaccine Innovation Progamme and aims to produce best practice guidance in recruiting care home residents into clinical trials of new vaccines. The post-holder will be a key member of a Scotland-wide consortium of clinicians, academics and public and patient involvement members. The post-holder will undertake scoping reviews of the medical literature, summarise evidence, collect new data from qualitative research and write scientific manuscripts and guidance documents with support from the expert supervisory and project management team.

Educated to degree level in an appropriate scientific or clinical field, the post-holder will have experience of working in clinical research and a sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines. They will also have excellent communication, interpersonal, organisation and IT skills.
