Job summary
The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (ROH NHS FT) is the largest provider of elective orthopaedic surgery in the UK and provides routine and specialist orthopaedic services. It is also the leading specialist centre for bone and soft tissue cancers and provides a regional spinal service.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic senior pharmacy team at ROH NHS FT. The po s t holder will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality and clinically robust service to wards and other clinical areas, with a focus on achieving clinical excellence. The post holder will help develop and deliver new and innovative clinical services.
The pharmacy service has undergone a major service transformation with the relocation of the department to a newly refurbished space including a brand new Omnicell robot, trustwide EPMA and automation across all inpatient wards. This is a great time to join a forward-thinking senior pharmacy management team and make a difference in shaping the service for the future. The successful candidate will leadimprovements through service evaluation and representation at various Trust forums to drive the service forward. Moreover, you will mentor and provide line management to a growing number of Foundation pharmacists and clinical pharmacists.
