What does the consumer research team at CGA do? 

Our team are a critical function to manage and analyse research projects within the hospitality sector – we’re a growing and supportive team who all share a mission to help some of the world’s biggest brands to better understand how consumers interact with their products and how they behave when out at a bar or restaurant, working within approximately 40 markets (and growing!). A Consumer Research Manager in our team will be responsible for leading qualitative and quantitative consumer research projects in this dynamic sector, designing research solutions, analysing results and presenting recommendations to internal stakeholders and client businesses. 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage research projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely delivery 
  • Design and lead qualitative and quantitative research methodologies 
  • Mentor junior team members in scripting surveys and conducting data analysis 
  • Create informative presentations that convey key research findings 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across business units and with clients to support in business development efforts 
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to update on projects and support with business development efforts 
  • Support the development of junior members of the team and inspire growth of both individuals and the wider team 
  • Design, develop and deliver global insights into the ever-changing eating and drinking out sector 

Requirements

  • A confident researcher, with over 2-3 years of experience 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills 
  • Proficiency and confidence with various research methodologies 
  • Passion for the food and beverage industry 
  • Passion for finding the real story behind our data and see the value for our clients 
  • Eye for detail and an ability to manage your own project load to high standards 
  • Creative, self-motivated, organised and curious  
  • Exceptional communication skills, with positive energy to bring the best out of yourself and those around you 
  • Bachelor's degree (2:2 or above) 
  • Line management experience preferred but not essential
