JOB TITLE: Creative Computing Lecturer
LOCATION: Peterborough College
SALARY: £24.17 - £30.53 per hour including hourly holiday pay DOE. 

Working days: part time, 22.5 hours per week. Hourly pay. Temporary contract 

QRS are the onsite recruitment support working on behalf of Peterborough College.

We are looking for a creative computer design Lecturer to work part-time for the new academic year (21st aug planned start)

What you'll do:

  • Empower learners: Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Games Design, Creative Computing Skills, and Web Design. Knowledge of networking and operating systems is also desirable’.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a degree in a relevant field like Computer Science or Graphic Design..
  • Has robust knowledge of the Adobe suite of programs, including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD.
  • Some working Knowledge of Games/Web Design 
  • Experience with using Google applications, such as Drive, Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
  • Has a teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or is willing to pursue a Level 5 Diploma. (TEACHING QUAL DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
  • Boasts excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.
  • Demonstrates a proven ability to deliver engaging lessons at a high standard.
  • Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

The start date for this position is August in preparation for the new academic year
