Salary:

• Unqualified: £28,582 - £30,282 per annum (pro rata)
• Qualified: £31,182 - £36,084 per annum (pro rata)

About the Role:
Stamford College is looking for a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Creative Media Lecturer. In this exciting role, you will teach Level 2 and Level 3 students across various aspects of creative media, including animation, gaming, filming, and video production. This position provides a unique opportunity to help inspire and shape the next generation of creative professionals. 

You do not need a teaching qualification to apply, but a willingness to work towards one is essential. This role is ideal for someone with strong practical skills in the creative media industry who enjoys sharing their knowledge with students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in creative media.
• Teach modules related to animation, gaming, video production, and other media-related disciplines.
• Use the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) to support teaching and coursework.
• Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them develop their skills and complete projects successfully.
• Create and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Work with colleagues to improve curriculum and student experience.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience in creative media fields such as animation, gaming, or video/film production.
• Proficiency with the full Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant software.
• Practical knowledge of photo/video editing techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Desirable:

• Teaching experience is advantageous, but not essential.
• A background in creative industries or media-related work is preferred.

Qualifications:

• No teaching qualification required, but willingness to work towards achieving one is essential.
