Superb opportunity to join a major US investment firm managing a multi-billion dollar portfolio of assets for their institutional investor base.
They are looking to recruit a Credit Research Associate who will work with successful Portfolio Managers on the analysis of both investment and sub-investment grade debt.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Credit analyst working with senior colleagues on IG and HY debt.
- Develop unique research insights to arrive at well-supported investment conclusions.
- Independently conduct proprietary credit research based on data gathered from underlying market fundamentals and company filings, attend company management meetings, and utilize additional independent research sources to build investment conviction.
- Build multi-year financial models to determine appropriate valuations under various scenarios.
- Help to generate investment ideas and provide monitoring of positions across client strategies.
- Work closely with colleagues as part of a highly collaborative platform, sharing ideas and offering feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-4 years of relevant experience as a Credit Analyst, gained either on the Buy or Sell side with an asset manager, hedge fund, investment bank, private equity, or private credit firm, with a commensurate level of understanding of company financial statements.
