Data Researcher
Due to business growth, we are now recruiting for ten dynamic researchers to join our Cardiff research centre and engagement team.
With Intelligence is a data information business specialising in the asset management sector. The successful candidates will be responsible for contacting investment management firms to collect and maintain accurate data pertaining to their businesses.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, in addition to strong analytic and communication skills, as well as being organised, ambitious and driven. This is an exciting opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic person who would like to develop a career in the asset management industry.
Succesful candidates will be invited to join our assessment centre on Wednesday 22nd May, 2024. Staff would have the option of a start date on Monday 17th June, 2024.
This role is based in Cardiff and pays a basic of £24,000 along with a discretionary bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Using a variety of online and public sources to identify relevant sources of information and leads
- Forming relationships with investment managers to obtain proprietary data
- Demonstrating With Intelligence’s data platform to investment managers
- Creating standardised data and inputting it into the database
- Identifying new sources of data through the development and maintenance of key contact relationships, via both telephone and email
- Be responsible for the acquisition of data and the development of this in line with business requirements and priorities.
- Manage the process of quality checking, reporting and improvement ensuring the quality and performance of data.
Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, as well as logical and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with spreadsheets, databases and MS Office.
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Previous experience in a data analysis, data science, or related role desirable.
