Salary: from £31,000 per annum
 

Teachig Personne are currently recruiting for a Lecturer (Teacher) of Electrical Apprenticeships for one of our partner colleges in Northamptonshire.

Lecturers here, play a pivotal role in the success of students through:

  • Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
  • Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
  • Managing students’ learning and provide a high quality learning experience.
  • Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
  • Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have experience of working in UK Electrotechnical industry OR recent experience of teaching and assessing on a range of programmes and levels, alongside the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 NVQ qualification in Electrical Installation (2357/5357 or equivalent)
  • Has completed AM2/AM2S or equivalent
  • To hold either the Certificate in Education or equivalent or Assessor Award
  • Willingness to achieve Qualifications not held either PGCE, Certed or Assesor award
  • GCSE Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent
  • Willingness to achieve IQA award or similar IQA qualification
