Fantastic opportunity to join the Equity research team of this leading firm. The focus will be global oil and gas stocks.
We are now working with a very successful, global asset management firm, who are looking to add an Equity Research Associate/ Junior VP to their Equity Research team. The focus will be global listed oil and gas stocks.
In this role, you will work on:
- Acting as a full member of the Research team working on stock analysis and portfolio analysis, focused on Energy stocks.
- Working closely with very experienced Fund Managers.
- Carrying out detailed commercial, financial and business analysis of investments.
- Preparing investment memorandums.
- Financial modelling and analysis.
- Monitoring the existing portfolio.
- Making buy and sell recommendations.
The fund takes a long-only approach towards investing.
They are keen on meeting people who will have a background as follows:
- Equity Research analyst with a leading asset management firm.
- Equity Research analyst with a sell-side firm.
- The role is probably suitable for someone with 4-7 years experience.
- Genuine interest in investing and financial markets.
- Strong academic background.
The successful candidate will have strong oil and gas sector knowledge.
