Windsor Forest College Group is looking for an ESOL Lecturer to join the Community team at our Community Education Centre on a Fixed Term contract working on a Sessional basis.

Community ESOL Lecturer

This role is a fixed term contract, working in our Community Education Centres in Southall and Hayes. The successful candidate will be working on a Sessional basis meaning you will be booked to work with the college on an hourly basis dependent on course requirements, the current expectation is that you will work up to 9 hours a week. You will be expected to travel between the various community centres. Additionally, on an as required basis you may need to travel to the Community and ESOL teams offices at Slough & Langley College located 5 mins walk from Langley Train Station (Elizabeth Line)

The Community ESOL Lecturer is responsible for delivering a teaching program for ESOL Pre-Entry to Level 1 classes, contributing to the development of the ESOL curriculum. You will help with conducting initial assessments and enrolment duties, assessing student progress and preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, monitoring and improving student attendance, promoting student morale and discipline.

To achieve this, you will collaborate with the other members of the teaching team to develop effective teaching and learning strategies, participating in the College's appraisal and performance management process, staying up to date in relevant areas of professional expertise, and performing any other duties as required.
