As we move to a new in-house recruitment model, we have created an exciting opportunity for an Exec Search Researcher to join the team.

This new opportunity will play a crucial part in supporting Royal London group conducting extensive research to identify and evaluate potential candidates for executive-level positions.

In this role you will bring your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, network building and a deep understanding of the industries and markets in which the group operates.

 

About the role:

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Recruitment to understand the requirements and specifications for executive-level positions.
  • Conduct comprehensive research using various sources, including databases, industry publications, social media, and professional networks, to identify potential candidates.
  • Evaluate and assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for the role through in-depth research and analysis.
  • Prepare detailed candidate profiles, including professional backgrounds, achievements, and expertise, to support the Executive Search team in their evaluation and selection process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the internal database or applicant tracking system.
  • Continuously monitor and track industry trends, market intelligence, and competitor activities to inform the research process and stay updated on top talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and potential candidates to expand the talent network and facilitate future executive searches.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the People Leadership team, highlighting progress, challenges, and potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop innovative sourcing strategies and identify new channels for candidate identification.

About you:

You will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience in executive search, talent acquisition and research-intensive roles.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • In-depth knowledge of executive-level roles, industries, and markets.
  • Familiarity with research tools and databases commonly used in executive search, such as LinkedIn, industry-specific platforms, and professional networks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and industry professionals.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Proven track record of projects delivery – excellent planning, coordination, and organisation skills
