An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic Lecturer to join the Chesterfield College’s Creative Industries as part of the Art, Design and Photography team.

The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for their subject and have a general knowledge of Photography with the interest and ability to teach BTEC Photography pathways from level 1 through to 4 and A-Level Photography. The flexibility to teach in a variety of other media areas within Art & Design would also be an advantage.

The new team member will be expected to have experience of classroom-based teaching and assessing and be able to act as personal tutor to specific groups. The hours of work may include evening and weekend sessions. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining high levels of student attendance, retention and achievement.

The successful candidate will have both vocational and teaching or training experience and a related undergraduate qualification, plus a teaching qualification, and a qualification in English and mathematics at minimum Level 2.

Good administration and interpersonal skills are essential.
