Our client is the LP investing team of a leading private investment office. They run a small and highly entrepreneurial team that invests opportunistically in PE funds across the US and Europe, from large global buyout players to country-specific mid-market funds.
They are looking for a junior investment professional to focus on the execution of new fund commitments, as well as the monitoring & analysis of the existing portfolio. You will quantitatively & qualitatively evaluate fund managers, utilizing your technical skills and building experience dealing with GPs. You'll work with seasoned investment professionals and gain exposure to all aspects of the deal process.
What the job involves
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on prospective investment opportunitiesProduction of investment memos, analytical reports on target GPs and their portfolio companiesWork on ad-hoc strategic projectsEnsure the pipeline of potential new opportunities is strong and updatedWho we are looking for
Analyst/Associate level experience in a fund investing role or investment consultancyStrong analytical skillsKnowledgeable and enthusiastic about the private equity LP spaceAbility to ask insightful questions and not take anything at face valueStrong academic credentials from a leading university
