About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate GCSE/Functional Skills Lecturer to join our team in Feltham. This role involves teaching and supporting students to achieve their qualifications in GCSE and Functional Skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of all students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching.

Requirements:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE and Functional Skills curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
