Health and Social Care Lecturer

We are currently seeking cover for the following post on a temporary basis to commence beginning of October.

Lecturer Health, Social and Childcare

To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of learning programmes as appropriate including Health & Social Care and Welsh Baccalaureate.

This is a temporary position for approximately 24 hours per week.

• Monday 9-12 and 1-4pm
• Tuesday 9-12 and 1-4pm
• Wednesday 9-12 and 1-4pm
• Thursday 9-12 and 1-4pm

Ideally candidates will have a level 6 qualification (e.g. Degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, have relevant experience and hold a teaching qualification. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are also required (GCSE or equivalent) and candidates should be IT literate equivalent to level 2. Assessor/Verifier Awards would be advantageous.

• Candidates must be fully compliance checked prior to commencement including references and enhanced DBS and must be registered with the EWC as Lecturer in Further Education.
