As a Lead Researcher at Orbis Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing and conducting comprehensive research projects, generating valuable insights, and managing a team of researchers. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, coordinating research efforts, and delivering high-quality analyses to clients. The Lead Researcher will report to the Research Director and work closely with internal stakeholders to shape research strategies and enhance the firm’s thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Research Leadership:
- Lead and guide a team of researchers in designing, planning, and executing complex research projects.
- Provide mentorship and direction to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Set research goals, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality research outcomes.
Strategic Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification to support client engagement and business development efforts.
- Synthesize complex data sets into actionable insights, recommendations, and strategic frameworks that address clients’ challenges and opportunities.
- Project Management:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones for research projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align objectives, and manage project scope effectively.
Client Engagement:
- Collaborate with business development teams to understand client needs, customize research approaches, and create compelling proposals.
- Participate in client presentations, workshops, and discussions, showcasing research findings and insights.
Thought Leadership:
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, whitepapers, reports, and presentations that demonstrate industry expertise and insights.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in research methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Market Research, Social Sciences).
- 4 years of experience in research, with a proven track record of leading and managing research projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data collection, and analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Project management experience, including coordinating teams, managing timelines, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving priorities.
